Definition: Black Pearls is a magical name that
originates from the jewel of the sea. Perfect at birth, a Black Pearl needs no
moulding or shaping, just the enhancement of its natural beauty with other
jewels worthy of it.
Like the name of the organization, the
members of Black Pearls Community Services, Inc. (henceforth referred to as
Black Pearls) are outstanding individuals in the community from varying
backgrounds of study and professions. Black Pearls is a community service group
committed to the advancement, development and education of the Black, West
Indian and African community and the community at large in the Greater Toronto
Area. Black Pearls Community Services, Inc. produces community service
programs focusing primarily, but not exclusively, on socioeconomic
and academic concerns for Black women.
Our signature programs include the Black T.I.E. Charity Gala, BP Book
Club, Economics Bi-monthly Seminars, Etiquette Development and much more. Black Pearls is a not-for-profit
organization, currently applying for charitable status.
